Wimborne Baptist Church is a group of about 100 followers of Jesus Christ, who meet to worship God together in Wimborne, Dorset.
We could put a picture of our church building on this page but the church isn't a building it's people! Our current church notice board is due for repairs so we installed this refurbished and colour co-ordinated
electronic one
instead. Keep checking it to find our "notice of the week"!
Our
worship
services are once again back at the front part of our building, now that our
refurbishment
is completed- join us at 10.30am and 6.30pm on Sundays in Grove Road, Wimborne. All services end with refreshments. A creche is available in the mornings - please just ask.
Parking
is very limited in our part of Wimborne, and you will need to allow time to find on-street parking if coming to church by car. Here is a link to a Wimborne map of our area, it will open in a new window:
We don't believe in going-it-alone either as a church or as individuals, so we are linked both to other local Baptist churches, the Southern Counties Baptist Association and the Baptist Union. We are also involved in our local Churches Together group, and in membership with the Evangelical Alliance.
And finally - we aren't perfect - so if you are, you might feel more comfortable somewhere else! But if you are looking for forgiveness, acceptance, inner peace, and meaning in your life - so are we, and we believe Jesus makes them possible - we would love to share him with you.
