Mums and Toddlers
Song-Oh what a mystery - click the play button to hear - you may need to adjust the volume control on the player.
Our Parent & Toddlers group have recently celebrated their
20th birthday
with a very special party, including a magician, a puppet show, and lots of food (and of course a 20th birthday CAKE). We are looking for excuses to have more parties as we enjoy them so much - an official thank you to Her Majesty for
giving us an excuse for one by reigning for fifty years - photos

. Even the toddlers seem to quite like our parties. We are led by Denise Smith who is still smiling despite having been attending Mums and Toddlers for the whole of that time. (Her three boys seem a bit miffed at still being made to come though, and have definitely outgrown those romper suits...)
Our group meets on Wednesday mornings during term-time between 10am and 12.30pm in our back hall. We are open to any parent with a pre-schooler in tow. Children with special needs are welcome and if you have any concerns about your own child's needs please speak to us. We do have one or two dads and grandads who have nerved themselves to break the mould - so do join us.
Next special events are the DIY Nativity where the children can dress up and take part as we tell the Christmas story about the birth of Jesus, and then the following week, our much appreciated Christmas party, with a visit from Santa, presents for all the children, and lots of food (which even the adults are allowed to eat).
There is usually a craft activity going on in one of our side rooms where the helpers can enjoy getting messy and trying to keep the children clean.
Our only rule is that you must remain present and responsible for your own child at all times. By the way - the
gorilla
is quite safe - but a bit of a Houdini.
If you enjoy Mums and Toddlers, you might also enjoy
Messy Church
- our special worship and fun time for young families - every two or three months on a Saturday afternoon.
