Mums and Toddlers Our Parent & Toddlers
group recently celebrated their tenth birthday with a very enjoyable
party. In fact we are looking for excuses to have more parties as we
enjoy them so much - an official thank you to Her Majesty for giving
us an excuse for one by reigning for fifty years - photos here. Even the
toddlers seem to quite like our parties. We are led by Denise Smith. Our group meets on Wednesday mornings during term-time between 10am and 12.30pm in our back hall. We are open to any parent with a pre-schooler in tow. Children with special needs are welcome and if you have any concerns about your own child's needs please speak to us. We do have one or two dads and grandads who have nerved themselves to break the mould - so do join us. Next special events are the DIY Nativity where the children can dress up and take part as we tell the Christmas story about the birth of Jesus, and then the following week, our much appreciated Christmas party, with a visit from Santa, presents for all the children, and lots of food (which even the adults are allowed to eat). There is usually a craft activity going on in one of our side rooms where the helpers can enjoy getting messy and trying to keep the children clean. Our only rule is that you must remain present and responsible for your own child at all times. By the way - the gorilla is quite safe - but a bit of a Houdini.
