Small Groups

Cartoon of groupTo help us get to know one another, we meet in small groups, to chat, pray, read the Bible and share together. We are also able to help one another out with practical and spiritual problems when they come up. It means that our homegroups are the main place for pastoral care and discipleship, and in our recent Vision Statement we have committed ourselves to using them as a key part of our outreach and mission. At the moment we have four small groups which meet fortnightly on a Tuesday evening. Each group is different, and we encourage people to find a group where they feel most at home. During the year our home-groups also arrange social events, where visitors are especially welcome. Our homegroups have begun to share in the leading of Sunday worship on a regular basis. Please feel free to contact either the pastor or one of the group leaders if you would like to join one of the groups - I have asked each leader to give us a thumbnail sketch of their group.

We come from a variety of backgrounds but fit together well, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Every fortnight when we meet, we enjoy singing, lively studies and prayer.
